TK For Kids - History and Memories Page

TK For Kids started off as an idea on a rough peace of paper back in 2001.

TK For Kids designed in NotePad

From there outline was setup in a text document.

The first real website

The first real webpage wasn’t all that successful as the links did
not work and the justification wasn’t even there.

Microsoft Word Website

Microsoft Word was then used to make the website work.
TK For Kids was then launched in late 2002.
“TIKI” became the web host.

New look of 2003

2003 brought a new look and new pages. The TK For Kids email
system was also set up. At this time there was only one visitor every
day – the webmaster. “Geocities” was the webhost.

New layout was designed

Soon another layout was introduced which looked much
better and lased a lot longer. More visitors came too.

New Look, More visitors

2005 brought another new logo. All of the pages needed
to be changed individually and had their own images.
This took up a lot of room on a server.
More visitors started to view the site at this time.

2006 Reconstruction

In 2006 TK For Kids was reconstructed from scratch. This removed
any broken pages and made the site run a lot faster.
With the new look, it brought more users.

Face Lift of 2007

2007 had another little face lift for it’s 5th birthday.
Most of the pages can be updated at once and
the key word search works much better. TK For Kids
averages 15 hits a day from people all over the world.
We hope that TK For Kids will last another 5 years
and that it keeps on growing into a better place.

The year 2009 is here and TK For Kids is still going strong
and has been re-designed. This new look has removed a lot of rubbish
that has built up over the last 8 years to create
a new look which is much quicker to view.
With new buttons and powerful search engines,
finding what you're looking for is easy with TK For Kids.
